This pattern uses 6 stitches per inch (4mm grid). The whole patch measures 8cm x 12cm (3¼” x 4¾”) with individual acorns measuring 2cm x 2.5cm (¾” x 1″). You can choose between many different stitches to follow its outline, including back stitch, stem stitch, split stitch, chain stitch, and Holbein stitch (double running stitch).
